David Rogers

David is an Assistant Headteacher at Patcham High School in Brighton. He considers himself to be a pedagogic trouble maker, geographer, explorer and general geek. In 2013 David received the Royal Geographical Society’s Ordnance Survey Award for Excellence in Geography Teaching. Students and learning are at the heart of David’s innovations. David doesn’t like desks much, but has been behind one long enough to create award winning resources for Discover the World and a number of Geography textbooks.

David is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, a Chartered Geography, member of the RGS’s Education Committee, Microsoft Innovative Teacher and Google Certified Teacher and won Jamie Oliver’s Dream Teacher with a video on Longshore Drift.
