Emil Wallner is the Venture Hunter at Emerge Venture Lab, where he is responsible for building pipeline partnerships and sourcing great social entrepreneurs. Prior to joining Emerge venture Lab, Emil received a postgraduate White Label diploma, a highly selective venture creation programme at Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship. He has started and been involved with several social enterprises in Sweden, including Cykelsamba, an initiative to raise awareness and spark initiatives around sustainability. Prior to his studies and work in social enterprise, he lived and worked in a village near Nsawam, Ghana, where he was appointed chief and head of development. His cultural experience has further been strengthened through Up With People where he lived in 27 host families in 8 different countries while working in a nonprofit organization in every region, as well as a trend spotting program with the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, India.
